Since 2006, Chris Stobart has been in the product research and development industry. His exposure to numerous product designs and multiple disciplines has given him proficiencies in a multitude of areas focused on product research and development. Chris has had exposure to industries such as agriculture, oil & gas, medical, sensors & instrumentation, and consumer electronics while performing multiple functions in the product design process. A few of these functions include architecture design, management, research & development, RF design, testing, industrial design, low level design (i.e. electronic & mechanical CAD), manufacturing, and regulatory requirements. This well rounded experience has fostered a systematic approach to product design and the R&D skills required to remain in a competitive environment. Furthermore, his experience with regulatory bodies such as FCC, IC, CSA, and UL enables him to strike a balance with stringent regulatory requirements and practical design considerations. Lastly, he holds a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering Technology and a M.Sc. in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering which further corroborates his interdisciplinary and R&D experience.
